The area around Kaarnatupa is easy to move around in and it is located close to retailers, restaurants and other services. Restaurant Pirtukirkko and the fish market is within a few minutes walking-distance, as well as the skiing trails and outdoor routes.
The log cabin has been extensively renovated in the summer of 2020. The roof and the floor have both been completely renewed. The staircase and the electricity are also completely renewed, and brand-new soapstone-radiators have been installed. All the doors, locks and windows have been renewed in the summer of 2020 as well as the kitchen with a new stone worktop. The washroom and sauna are completely renovated with a new exhaust ventilation, and the furniture and equipment have been renewed (new wooden log table, handmade log bed, and a reindeer horn lamp made by a local artist, amongst other things). In addition, a new air-source heat pump has been installed in 2020.
In the yard there’s a parking space with a heat plug, and next to the entrance there’s a storage with a drying cabinet. In the lower floor of the cabin there is a living room/open kitchen with new appliances. The absolute eye-catcher of the living space is the massive heat reserving slate fireplace. The terrace is connected to the living room.

The log wood staircase leads you to the upper floor, which contains two loft bedrooms with two beds each.
There are 7 beds total (3 downstairs and 4 upstairs), of which two are 120 cm wide.
