We hire a cosy, traditional log cabin apartment (former Tunturitieva) at the center of village

Äkäslompolo. High-class facilities for up to seven people, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher,

free wifi, sauna and fire place. House has a common open air fire place for cooking and ski

maintenance room. Firewood and use of kick sledges is included in the rental.

Location in the center of Äkäslompolo village 45 minute drive by bus or car from Kittilä

International Airport. You can fly from Helsinki to Kittilä and during the high season there are

also direct flights from many European cities. A nice possibility is to take a overnight train from

Helsinki to Kolari and then by bus ( 30 min) to Äkäslompolo.
