The Villa has been renovated specially for allergic people, so may you have pet allergies or not, we want to ensure your comfort during your stay. We kindly ask you to leave your pets to a pet sitter or to our spacious dog yard during your stay.
Inside the Villa you will find 8 +4 beds. Below more information regarding the beds. Two convertible sofas in the living room and in the utility room can be used as extra beds maximum of two persons each. Rent includes the bed sheets and the towels.
The Villa covers 140 square meters, kitchen, living room, utility room, 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, sauna and a bathroom, a spacious terrace at the back door (for BBQ, eting outside and to chill) and two terraces upstairs; other one is glass covered. At front yard there is a woodshed and there you can find many different games to be played outside! At the backyard there is a fireplace, children's cottage for playing and an atmospheric sauna by the lake and a hot tub. You can rent the hot tub for your stay, for the weekend or for the full week! A beautiful flagstone pathway leads your way from the back yard terracce to the shore and sauna. From the end of the new big pier you can jump to more than three meters deep water. There are also two buoys for boats. In Mikkeli it is possible to rent a boat. Behind the sauna the water is shallow and deepends little by little so it is well suitable for small children. Rowing boat and life jackets are available for your use as well as a canoe and stand up paddling boards! We have a 4,5 m2 children’s swimming pool as well.
Villa Saimaansini heats up with geothermal heating, the floor is heated both upstairs and downstairs and air conditioning keeps the air fresh.
There are two 80 cm beds in the bedroom downstairs, two 80 cm beds and one 120 cm and one 160 cm bed in the bedroom upstairs facing south and in the masterbedroom upstairs you will find two 90 cm x 210 cm beds. The beds have a bit different hardness and softness of the mattress so everybody should be able to find the comfortable bed suitable for them. In each of the bedrooms there are blackout curtains and in each window window blinds.
The house is modernly equipped and furnished: a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an electric stove and an oven and an baking oven and stove made of soapstone, Moccamaster coffee maker, water heater, toaster, blender (mixer) etc. A set of dishes is there for minimum of 12 people up to 24. For a higher demand please ask us! Villeroy & Boch wine glasses bring the festivity to every day life. Kitchen contains a perfect set for cooking and baking. 100 Mbit/s optical fibre Internet connection, WLAN, cable-TV, a gas grill, a fireplace, a wasching machine and a tumble dryer, hair dryer. In the utility room there is also a fireplace made of soapstone.
You will find great possibilitie for wandering and exploring the nature and forest! For the relaxation of the mind and body we recommend berry and mushroom picking and fishing and why not biking and jogging!
