Sammalkasa

Sammalkasa is the place to be if you want a holiday in peace and quiet while enjoying the Finnish nature. There are TWO SEPARATE cottages but they are always rented together in the summertime (June -August). In spring and in autumn you can also rent only sauna cottage for a visit of two or three persons, please ask more!

SELMA'S COTTAGE is a a hundred years old log house. A living room and two bedrooms. There are beds for 3 - 5 persons. There is electricity but no tap water or toilet inside. The dry toilet is situated next to the cottage.

THE SAUNA COTTAGE is a modern, warm and cosy little cottage by a small lake. There is a nice room with a fireplace and a sauna + shower room + toilet. Double bed on a loft and an extra bed on the sofa. You can watch the lake view from a nice porch and use a wood grill outdoors.

There is a dock and a rowing boat available by the lake.

We cannot recommend this place to very small children or people with impaired physical mobility because of the stairs and slopes on the property.

We will bring drinking water available for our guests.

You can also rent the sheets and towels from us, 10 e/person.
